Here’s the bare minimum where it concerns the University of Maryland and its runaway football program: Coach DJ Durkin needs to get out now, if not sooner, and he needs to take his Neanderthal strength coach with him. Three weeks from a season opener against Texas, that’s the least Maryland’s administration can do, even as every office with a hand in assessing the athletic department should feel the ground shift under it. The simple fact is disturbing enough: A player died on Durkin’s watch. That’s tragic. Amazingly, though, if details in a blistering ESPN report Friday are to be believed — and they should be — it took that tragedy to expose how the coach and his staff ran their program. Minaj appeared  on   Apple Music's Beats 1   to roll out her fourth studio album track-by track on Friday morning, with the album dropping at noon. "I'm not only exhausted and delusional, but I get to be live with you guys and go over my album," she joked on-air, saying she pulled an all-nighter to prep for her album release. Epic Games gives teams a reason to mix it up Epic Games has been experimenting with the rules of its weekly  Fortnite  events, called Summer Skirmishes,  since the first disastrous week . But the latest format, debuting tomorrow, may be the company’s best one yet. The tournament type is called Kingpin,  and this is how it works : The team with the most points at the end of eight matches wins. Eliminations earn players points towards placement at the end of the event. Earning a Victory Royale will provide a team with a 3x Elimination bonus in the next match. Teams get one point for each elimination, but earning a Victory Royale means that eliminations will be worth three points in the next round you play. Earning more than seven eliminations will make each elimination worth double the points in the next round. Today’s Google Doodle celebrates the 110th birthday of Mary Golda Ross, a math prodigy who became both the first female and Native American engineer at Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, where she helped develop the rocket technology that launched America into space. Ross was born in Park Hill, Oklahoma, on August 9, 1908, and died nearly 100 years later on April 29, 2008, in Los Altos, California. She was the great-granddaughter of John Ross, the longest-serving chief of the Cherokee Nation. She said her heritage contributed to her academic success. “I was brought up in the Cherokee tradition of equal education for boys and girls,” Ross said,  according to the Cherokee Nation’s website . After graduating from Northeastern State College in 1928 with a math degree, Ross became a high school teacher for several years.
